Here is a simple and effective DIY all-purpose cleaner you can make on the fly with basic household ingredients.
Glass spray bottle
Distilled water
White vinegar
Pure castile soap or dish soap
Essential oils
Cheap vodka (optional)

Fill your glass spray bottle halfway with distilled water, and the remaining amount with white vinegar, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
You can also adjust this mix if you're not a huge fan of vinegar. **(See below for an additional option.)
If you are using vodka, do 1/3 parts distilled water, white vinegar and vodka.
Next, add 1 teaspoon of pure castile soap or dish soap.
Finally, add your essential oils. This can be Thieves, or whatever you have on hand. Think cleaning/cleansing, like:
Lemon
Lime
Orange
Grapefruit
Rosemary
Eucalyptus
Tea Tree
Ginger
Currently, I am using a blend with lemon, clove, eucalyptus and rosemary, and it's divine.
Mix and play with whatever scents you like, and that smell fresh and clean.
Tighten the spray lid, give a good shake and clean away!
**You can also infuse your vinegar to help mask the smell. Simply find a large glass jar with a lid and pour the vinegar in about halfway to 2/3's full, and add citrus peels as you use them. The oils infuse the vinegar and not only help as a cleaning agent, but create a lovely smelling addition to your cleaner.
Just note that if you are using a Mason jar that the vinegar will corrode the metal, so be sure to layer parchment paper over the lid between the ring.
